I thoroughly enjoy reading through Jacobin magazine and its socialist perspective.“The Breaking Bank” issue was detailed in helping break down banking jargon but I felt it lacked a detailed explanation of how modern day fiat currencies operate.

After reading the issue, I was disappointed and I left feeling though there was no alternative in place to the current neoliberal economic approach. There is indeed an alternative in place. It is called Modern Monetary Theory.
