It’s been a busy 2015 for Jacobin. 800 essays published, two more stellar books, dozens of events and new reading groups formed.

We also, we’re pleased to report, managed to come pretty close to sustaining this work financially. Through our subscription growth, we’ve been able to expand our staff and improve the quality and frequency of both our print and online essays. We’re just $10,000 shy of our fundraising target with a few days left in the year. It’s an amount that’s a little beyond our reach, but a generous donor has agreed to match funds up to a total of $5,000.
