Support Jacobin

The winter issue is finally out. Now it’s time to take stock of our progress and balance our books. We’ve had no problem adding subscribers over the past year, but we haven’t had the same luck wooing donors. So now, Jacobin, a magazine with annual printing costs in excess of $25,000 a year, is asking its readers to help cover a modest $2,000 gap. Don’t make us go begging to George Soros.

The following prizes will be offered to donors:

  • Donations under $15 — our thanks.
  • Donate $15 — a copy of our latest issue.
  • Donate $25 — our new issue, plus a stylish T-shirt.
  • Donate $50 — lifetime digital subscription.
  • Donate $75 — the collection: all of the above, plus the print back issues.
  • Donate $125 — the above, plus a signed copy of Selling Women Short: The Landmark Battle for Workers’ Rights at Wal-Mart from Jacobin editorial board member Liza Featherstone.
  • Donate $250 or more — if those weren’t enough, an editor of your choosing will also send you a Bastille Day card (each card will feature a haiku).
  • Donate $14,876 — everybody has a price . . .
