Educate, Agitate, Organize

I appreciate the superb, if extremely difficult to read, “Israel’s Gaza War Is One of History’s Worst Crimes,” by Branko Marcetic (difficult because of its content, not the admirable writing). This should be a pamphlet that the American left distributes to workers and asks them to pass on to fellow workers and encourage the setting up of local committees, even if small at first, to begin the self-education and organizing to address what can be done to begin to correct this horrific atrocity.

We Form Like Voltron

I loved your last issue [“Speculation”], which tackles an important topic in a very coherent way. So coherent, it got me wondering how much Jacobin writers talk to each other when working on an issue. It truly reads like everyone was sat in a room together, brainstormed points of agreement, and then wrote articles in sync. I know magazine writing isn’t like that, but I mean that as a compliment.
