This Monday, we’re pleased to kick off our 2014 event programming a bit early. Jacobin and the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung be hosting a conversation between distinguished scholar of social democracy Sheri Berman, New York University’s Adaner Usmani, and Petter Nilsson from Sweden’s Vänsterpartiet (Left Party) on the future of social democracy in Europe and beyond.

The event will be held at BookCourt (193 Court Street, Brooklyn NY) and start at 7 PM. Admission is free and open to all. We’ll be welcoming a delegation from the Vänsterpartiet at a casual reception afterwards. Wine, cheese, and other classy things will be provided.
